Lifestyle host, chemist and philanthropist Pinky Tobiano enjoyed the help of Councilor Bernard Herrera, Super Sam resto owner Gerry Sy, Vitarich EVP Nikki Sarmiento
and celebrities Nicole Cordoves, Aaron Villaflor and Gil Cuerva in bringing joy to solo parents in Barangay Pag-ibig sa Nayon, QC.
Since the ‘ber’ months began, everyday has been a Tuesday to lifestyle host, chemist and philanthropist Pinky Tobiano who has been spreading Christmas cheers with her “Grateful Tuesdays” team across different barangays.
As of today, Grateful Tuesdays —which is the title of her Tobiano’s pandemic-inspired charitable online program — has already helped 120,000 families.
The latest gift-giving took place at the covered court of Barangay Pag-ibig sa Nayon in Pineda St., Balintawak, Quezon City on December 11.
“It was a special day for me because we gave help to 200 solo parents,” the well-loved businesswoman and socialite happily told The Manila Times Lifestyle.
Ever a catalyst for doing good, Tobiano thanked Councilor Bernard Herrera; Super Sam resto owner Gerry Sy; and Nikki Sarmiento, EVP for Vitarich Cook’s Fresh Chicken, Rocko’s Fried Chicken and Mega Sardines for their all out support and donations.
“I’m also grateful to celebrities Nicole Cordoves, Aaron Villaflor and Kapuso actor Gil Cuerva who lent glitter to the gift giving,” she added.
Clarifying misconceptions over her philantropy, Tobiano continued, “All we want is to give aid and cheer this Christmas season to solo parents who are all alone in raising their own children. May they feel the love of Christmas despite this pandemic.
“I have no political motives in doing this. No plans of running. I just want to help ease other’s burdens and make people like the solo parents happy this holiday season,” she ended.
